This disclosure is presented before you subscribe to the Applications plan, together with the price per application and the billing interval, and you consent to it as a separate, affirmative step. It summarizes Section 9 of the Agent Terms of Service, which governs.
- What you are charged for. $100.00 for each completed application — an insurance application that Casewave completes and submits to a carrier on your behalf. If a discount has been agreed with you, the discounted price per application is shown next to this disclosure before you subscribe, and that is the price you pay.
- When a charge accrues. When the completed application is recorded, not when you subscribe. It appears on your next weekly invoice.
- The amount varies, and can be zero. What you pay each billing period depends on how many applications were completed in that period. In a period with no completed applications, the charge is $0.00. There is no base charge, no minimum and no per-seat fee — the plan costs nothing until an application is completed.
- The plan renews automatically. It bills weekly, in arrears, for the applications completed in the week just ended, and renews for another period until you cancel.
- Your payment method is charged at each renewal. Payments are processed by Stripe; card details never touch Casewave's systems.
- You can cancel online, at any time. Go to Settings → Billing (or Applications) in the app. Your plan ends as soon as you cancel. Cancelling does not cancel amounts already owed: applications completed before you cancel are invoiced right away, in a final invoice. Applications completed after you cancel are not billed unless you subscribe again.
- Price changes. We will give you at least 30 days' notice, by email and in the app, before any increase to your price per application — including the reduction or removal of a discount — takes effect.
- What you have been charged for, before the invoice. Your Applications page lists every completed application recorded in the current billing period, with the date and a reference for each, and the amount accrued so far. The invoice itself shows the period's applications as a single billed line.
Consent to automatic renewal is a separate, affirmative step: the checkbox is never pre-checked, and declining it only means you cannot start the Applications plan. Your Servicing subscription, if you have one, is separate — it is billed on its own subscription, and neither one affects the other.
Casewave records the date, time, and wording of your agreement to this disclosure and will provide it on request.
