Casewave
CLIENT PORTAL

Client Portal Terms

EFFECTIVE: AUGUST 18, 2026

These terms are between you and Casewave, Inc. ("Casewave"). They cover your use of the Casewave client portal. You agree to them by checking the box when you first sign in.

1. What this portal is, and who your agent is

Casewave makes software for your insurance agent. Your agent uses it to handle servicing tasks — things like beneficiary changes, direct-deposit forms, and annual reviews — and this portal is where you complete the parts that need you.

Your agent is your point of contact for insurance questions. Casewave is not an insurance company and not an insurance agent, and Casewave does not give insurance advice. If you have a question about your coverage, ask your agent.

2. Who can use the portal

You must be 18 or older to use the portal. The portal is not for children, and we do not open accounts for anyone under 18.

Keep your account information accurate, and keep your login details private. You are responsible for what happens under your login. Your account is protected by two-factor authentication, which is required when you set up your account. If you think someone else has used your account, tell your agent or contact us right away.

3. The AI assistant

Some conversations in the portal are with Casey, an AI assistant — not a person. The portal tells you this at the start of a conversation and during it: "You are chatting with Casey, an AI assistant. Casey does not give advice — your licensed agent handles anything that needs professional judgment."

  • Casey does not give insurance advice.
  • A human — your agent — reviews and approves binding actions, like submitting a change for execution.
  • Conversations may be processed by the AI service providers listed on our Subprocessor page.

4. Electronic records and signatures

By using the portal you agree to receive records and notices from us electronically, and to sign documents electronically, as described in our E-Sign Consent. In short:

  • You will need a device with a current web browser, an internet connection, a valid email address, and the ability to view and save PDF files.
  • You can withdraw your consent to electronic records at any time by contacting your agent. If you do, you can complete your paperwork on paper through your agent instead — withdrawing does not cost you anything, but electronic tasks in the portal will no longer be available to you.
  • Signature envelopes themselves are handled by DocuSign, which asks for its own consent when you sign.

5. How sensitive information is handled

The portal is designed so that the most sensitive information never sits in it. Social Security numbers, bank account details, government IDs, and health details are entered directly in DocuSign — the secure e-signature service — not stored by Casewave. Casewave keeps track of the status of your documents, not their contents. Please don't type these numbers into chat or notes; the forms that need them will collect them in the right place.

6. Your information and your rights

The information in the portal — your policies, your requests, your details — is managed by your agent, who uses Casewave to serve you. Our Privacy Policy explains what is collected and how it is protected.

If you want to see, correct, or delete your information, you can ask your agent, or contact us at [email protected] and we will help coordinate it with your agent. If your agent is unresponsive or no longer uses Casewave, we will handle your request directly.

7. Using the portal responsibly

Our Acceptable Use Policy applies to the portal. Use it only for your own insurance servicing, give accurate information, and don't try to break, probe, or misuse it.

8. No fees

The portal is provided to you at no cost, by arrangement with your agent.

9. Disclaimers and limits on liability

We work to keep the portal available and accurate, but we provide it "as is." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and Casewave's total liability to you for claims relating to the portal is limited to $100. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Some states do not allow limits on implied warranties or on incidental or consequential damages, so some of these limits may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that the law says you keep.

10. Ending access; changes; contact

Your access ends if your agent's use of Casewave ends or your agent removes you, and you may stop using the portal at any time. If we make material changes to these terms, we will tell you at least 30 days before they take effect — by email and in the portal — and ask you to accept the new version.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. This does not take away any protection you have under the law of the state where you live.

Questions about these terms: [email protected]. Questions about your insurance: your agent.
